Alexander An, Co-Founder

Alexander An is currently a third-year PharmD student at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, he attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies, and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology.

He is currently a venture fellow at Carolina Angel Network and consultant at Biotech Connection-Bay Area (BCBA). He works part time at a startup called Treatment-Facts to build platforms to help patients understand treatments, and as a Strategy team member for Nucleate. He is on three publications as well.

This past summer, Alex was an oncology medical affairs intern at Merck and a clinical development intern at SpringWorks Therapeutics.

At UNC, he is a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, works with the Carolina Graduate Consulting Group to consult those starting life sciences startups, and oncology drug discovery research at school. His research is focused on optimization of perinucleolar compartment inhibitors as potential anti-metastasis agents.

His professional interests include venture capital, biotechnology, and consulting within the pharmaceutical industry.
