Preetish Patil,
Social Media Creator

Preetish Patil is currently a second-year PharmD student at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

Originally from Johns Creek, Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies, and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Psychology.

Preetish has 3 years of experience in vaccine development as a research associate, performing in vitro assays to assist in the creation and development of vaccines. He has worked on vaccine candidates for COVID-19, RSV, and Mumps Virus. 

At UNC ESOP, Preetish co-leads the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of Student Senate, oversees global communications as a co-vice president of PharmAlliance, and is the Director of Communications for IPhO. This year, Preetish also founded a new elective, LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care, for the UNC ESOP curriculum.

His professional interests include Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.
