Eric Arrington, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Eric Arrington is currently a third-year PharmD student at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
Originally from Burke, Virginia, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies, and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science.
This summer, Eric worked as a Business Development Intern for Heads Together Health, a startup biotech company located in Carrboro. He was responsible for conducting market research to identify potential clients and competitors, assisting with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and supporting market messaging to key customer stakeholders in healthcare, sports medicine, and athletics. He has also worked for CVS Pharmacy in Durham, North Carolina, for over 3 years. He started as a Pharmacy Technician in July 2020, and was promoted to Pharmacy Intern in August of 2021.
At UNC ESOP, Eric is the Event Chair for the Recruitment Ambassadors Program, the CKD Initiative Chair for the Student National Pharmacist Association, and a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.
His professional interests include Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs.
